What sparked the creation of the well-being application?

The client came up with an idea to support both construction professionals and non-professionals in enhancing the overall success of their projects. The aim was to simplify the complex process of project management by introducing a solution that would streamline various aspects.

This idea sought to empower individuals involved in construction projects, enabling them to efficiently manage tasks, resources, and timelines. By providing a user-friendly platform and incorporating intuitive features, the application aimed to optimize project outcomes and contribute to the industry’s advancement.

To meet the expectations of our client, we created a mobile application that is user-friendly and allows for easy tracking of construction site progress. This application simplifies the process of keeping tabs on the development of a construction project. With its simple interface and helpful features, it enables users to stay updated on the milestones and advancements in the construction site. Our goal was to develop a product that meets our client’s needs and provides them with a convenient tool for effectively managing their construction projects.

Outcomes

The application allows the employees to capture data like multiple images, video, 360-degree images and Floor Dimensions for those projects that are assigned to them. The employees can only capture this data when they are in the construction site location. We have achieved this by setting up geofencing, which means the application only works within specific location boundaries.

Even in areas with limited or no internet connection, the application allows employees to capture data offline. This ensures that crucial information is collected and recorded accurately, regardless of the availability of internet connectivity. So, employees can be confident that they won’t miss any important details and can complete their work efficiently.

Offline Functionality: The app needs to function offline in areas with limited or no internet connectivity. This requires implementing robust offline data storage and synchronization mechanisms. The app can store captured data locally and then automatically sync it with the server once an internet connection is available.

Geofencing and Location Services: Enabling geofencing functionality within the app presents its own challenges. Geofencing requires precise location tracking and triggering events based on the user’s proximity to specific construction sites. The solution involves leveraging built-in location services provided by the mobile operating systems and integrating geofencing libraries or APIs to handle location-based actions within the app.

Integration with Backend Systems: The app needs to communicate with backend systems to store and retrieve data, synchronize offline data, and generate reports. Seamless integration with existing project management or data storage systems is crucial.
